Breakaway & Disengagement Training

Breakaway & Disengagement Training

Clinical, Ethical, and Safe Breakaway Skills

Our Breakaway & Disengagement Training teaches staff how to escape from grabs, holds, and assaults safely, confidently, and without causing unnecessary harm. Every technique is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and aligned with the principles of least-restrictive practice.

This training is ideal for high-risk environments where frontline staff face unpredictable behaviours — including acute healthcare, children’s services, mental health, and social care.

Delivered by a former frontline CID officer and NHS Practice Leader, the programme blends real-world experience with accredited best practice.
